Statement:

The De La Salle School is a Catholic School in the Diocese of Rockville Centre that shares in the Lasallian heritage and exists to provide a quality education for boys from economically disadvantaged situations. The intent is to advance their individual growth spiritually, academically, socially and physically, in collaboration with their parent(s) or guardian(s). The school’s mission also incorporates an emphasis on respect; responsibility and service thereby preparing the young men to be caring citizens of the world.

Each member of the Class of 2006, our first graduates, wrote about his time at The De La Salle School. Selected quotes appear below:

I like this school because the teachers support you and help you go the right way.
A success that I achieved at The De La Salle School was to become a De La Salle Gentleman, and to admit when I am wrong.
If I were not in this school I would probably be getting into a lot of trouble in the streets.
I try hard and I get more respect from the teachers than I have ever had in any school.
Even though it was difficult and looked almost pointless to try, I did not give up. Learning this lesson is one of my achievements at The De La Salle School.
