Statement:

In memory of our parents Marion and Irving Mann, my family and I recently founded The Mann Foundation to help fund research for geriatric diseases and, ultimately, find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

Ever since Alzheimer’s disease ended our mother’s life in 2001, we have been actively involved with Mount Sinai Hospital helping to raise funds. We have also been working with such other fine charities as UJA Federation, ORT, Capuchin Food Pantries, Israel Bonds, City of Hope, Starlight Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Food Allergy Institute and the Jack Martin Fund.

Mount Sinai and AFA hold a very special place in our hearts. We believe that by working more directly on behalf of the hospital’s brilliant research team we can make a real difference in finding a cure for Alzheimer’s
